Dear Imran Khan,
You were and are my Cricketing Heroes and for lots of Cricketers too. Inzamam and Wasim Akram and even Waqar Younus were your finds ,only to name a few.Me and lots of Indians and Millions across the world still admire you and we still watch your interviews and cricketing videos . Watching you bowl around the wicket close to the stumps and taking a jump was one of the most wonderful scenes while watching cricket.
I remember i missed and bunked my school class for watching a cricket match of Pakistan and west indies in Burlton Park , Jalandhar in 1989 i guess just to watch you and in return , was suspended from Annual Function from school for bunking the classes because our principal came to know.
Still remember in 1992 lifting the world cup and leading a team which was lesser capable and it was only you who gave the quotation that a lion can make win even a team of underdogs if the leader is capable and you were inarguably the best and shrewdest captain in world cricket.
When you played against India in 1992, we had final exam of physics but still saw full coverage of match before the exam.
and i stole poster of you from school library from Sportsstar magazine and pasted it in my room .
I,along with,millions of Indians want the same heroic image of you to be continued by you even as Prime Minister of Pakistan.
When you became the Prime Minister, i was amongst the ones who were happy and even wrote an article that this time Pakistan has got a different genre of Prime Ministers.
And was confident too.
Releasing Abhinandan too quickly was a bold decision.
no doubt you had to do it.because of Geneva Convention but still it was bold inspite of opposition from your own media and your cabinet.
Your calm and nice speech had lots of admirers in India as well and i was amongst them.
Your speech for peace divided India .
Sir, Show the guts this time as you used to show in Field.
Be different than others.
Stop firing at LOC.
Do not violate Ceasefire time and again.
I know Pakistan Prime Minister is a puppet in hands of Army but still Sir, you are the sportsman and show sportsmanship that you are known for.
You are a fighter and show your fighter spirit not for war but for peace.
Match your words with your actions sir which you are not.
Show the whole world that you are a true leader and change the image of Pakistan in world map.
and only then you will continue to live in millions of hearts ,otherwise like others,you and your image Pakistan and its map will extinct.
